Bernadette Ritchie Obituary

RITCHIE, Bernadette Marie In No. Andover, October 29, 2008, age 89, after a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family. Daughter of the late Lawrence J. and the late Sarah (Moran) O'Neill. A graduate of Arlington High School. Wife of Ralph E. Ritchie with whom she celebrated their 66th Wedding Anniversary on July 29, 2008. A former resident of Lynnfield where they lived for 55 years. An avid reader, she loved going dancing with Ralph, and could shop 'til she dropped - she was on a first name basis with many saleswomen. Mrs. Ritchie loved her family and especially enjoyed getting together with them for birthdays and holidays. She will be sorely missed. Loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband Ralph, her sons Robert J. and wife Linda of Chelmsford and Donald L. and wife Abbe of North Andover and five grandchildren: Kristin Ritchie Ford and husband Paul, Brian Ritchie and wife Donna, Katie, Alyssa, and Donald Ritchie and three great-grandchildren: RJ, Zoe, and Kendall. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
