GULIZIA, Virginia C. (DePalma) Of Malden Oct. 30, 2008. Devoted wife of the late Santo "Sandy" Gulizia. Beloved mother of Maria "Mia" McGovern of Saugus. Sister of Ann Grasso, Vera Jameson & the late Clara Antonucci, Mario & Albert DePalma & Louise Robbins. Cherished grandmother of Ashley & William McGovern of Saugus. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Funeral from the A.J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main St., MALDEN, on Monday Nov. 3rd at 9:15am, followed by a Mass Of Christian Burial in Blessed Sacrament Church, 16 Summer St., Saugus at 10:30am. Relatives & friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours are Sunday 2-6pm. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Mia, I just returned to hear about your mother's passing. Please know you, Ashley and Billy are in my thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time. You were a loving and devoted daughter to her and your dad. May she rest in peace.

Auntie, you were a wonderful woman and loved by all. Steve will miss you at the MC bingo on Sundays, letting them all know your nephew is "that malden cop over there". I am glad to have had the honor of spending the last hours with you. Rest peacefully Auntie and give my mom a kiss for me up there, I know you are with her now. I love you......Little Deb
