Dear Ivy and Family,
Bobby's dad, Charlie, and my dad, Jim, were cousins. I went to school with David and we used to visit Bobby's family on Bow Street. That seems like a hundred years ago! In high school, Bobby was such a great guy and friend to all. I never saw him without a smile on his face. My dad died suddenly when I was a sophomore in high school, and my sister and I didn't see the Bow Street gang much, however, I did see them in school. I have been teaching at Arlington High since 1968; in fact, I was Michael's Spanish teacher. I am so sorry to hear of Bobby's passing. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Ivy, Jennifer, Jamie, and Heather,
Your husband and father, Bob, offered me my first job out of college where I stayed for close to 7 years. I grew up on Bob's watch, and there was a reason I stayed for so long in that little office in Billerica. Bob was a great man, and a great mentor. I will honor him every time I wear my light blue brooks brother's shirt with white collar and white cuffs. That was his look that i remember so well, so handsome and strong, and so very kind. I will never forget him, and the opportunity he gave me to start my career. He will be deeply missed.

Dear Ivy and Girls,
Our hearts break at this news...Bob was one of the most loving, inspirational and supportive human beings I have ever known...He was one of my biggest cheerleaders when I was sick and I will never forget his words of encouragemnet for me and his deep faith that we would be OK. When he came to Christians I knew the stairs were hard for him but he always had a BIG smile on his face when he reached the top! And I always got a BIG hug from him too!!! We always loved seeing you both there!!!My son TJ and I saw him in the hospital not too long ago and he was still that cheerful, kind person..he even gave TJ some golf tips that day...just an amazing person..We are blessed and honored to be able to call him our friend.. God Bless you all at this difficult time.

I knew Bob from Cranberry Valley where we both liked to try our skills not matter how limited. Actually Bob Hit the ball quite far and we played a fun game. He always said hello to everyone and really enjoyed himself. I was saddened to hear of his disease and at the same time enlightened to see the courage he displayed in dealing with it and making the most of his time. I also lost my wife a year and a half ago and know how difficult it is. My prayers are with you all.

Please accept my condolences for your terrible loss. Bob and I first met through his brother Jim, who was my classmate at Arlington High. It turned out my younger brother, Gerry Smith, had many buddies in common with Bob.
In 2000, when I started at Arlington's Sanborn Foundation I was thrilled to find out that we were a Leverone & Associates client. For the next few years I enjoyed working with Bob in his capacity as the Foundation's auditor. In all of our conversations it was very clear he felt his life blest with you, your children, and your grandchildren.
Sadly, I can truly empathize with you as you face this crushing blow having lost my own husband in June. I find taking one day at a time helps in navigating the difficult course.
The entire Leverone family is in my thoughts and prayers. Take care of each other in the days and weeks ahead. God bless you.

I met Bob when I was in the fifth grade, he was a year older, he was a guy with a word of encouragement and a friendly hello. I came to know him better in HS and later, he was a client of mine.
