HUGHES, David R. In Revere, unexpectedly, at 25 years, on October 26. Beloved son of Debra (Colarusso) Hughes of Revere and the late Robert W. Hughes. Devoted father of Brendan R. Hughes of Revere, Cherished brother of Desiree L. Hughes of Manchester, NH, Robert W. Jr., & Christy C. Hughes, Jake and Eric Bodwell, Jr., all of Revere and the late Nicholas C. Hughes. Also lovingly survived by his niece Hailey M. Epstein of Manchester, NH & his step-father Eric Bodwell, Sr. of Revere. Also lovingly survived by several aunts, uncles, grand-aunts, grand-uncles & cousins. Family & friends are invited to attend the funeral service on Wed., Nov. 5 at 11:00AM at the Woodlawn Cemetery Chapel, Elm St, Everett. Visiting hours on Tuesday evening 7-9PM in the Vertuccio Home for Funerals, 773 Broadway (Rte. 107) REVERE. Parking is available in the lot left of funeral home. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to your favorite charity.

Dear Hughes Family,
I am deeply sorry for your loss. I have known David, Bobby, Nick, and Cassandra for a very long time and had just found out about this and would like to give u my condolences and prayers. He was a good person and had so much to live for. May your family have strength during this time of sorrow. He and Nick will forever be in our thoughts and memories.

I will miss my godson everyday till I meet him again. David will always live in my thoughts and my heart.He is sadly missed. I loved when he and my son would tell each other jokes and laugh like to nuts. I will miss his laugh and his strong hugs. I love you David.
