Gregory Scott Obituary

SCOTT, Gregory A. Always kind hearted, Gregory Allan Scott, age 56, passed away Oct. 30th in the comfort of his home. A proud native of Boston, MA, Greg and his family have lived in Powder Springs, GA for the past 10 years. Greg was raised in New Hampshire, 1 of 6 siblings. He was very free spirited and extremely affable to everyone he met. He had a strong passion for music and was an advocate for the Democratic Party. GMAC was his life's work and he committed 30 years to the company. Greg fell in love and married Dr. Lanett Crews who preceded his death by 3 years. He was a loving father to his daughter Lakendra Scott, a sophomore at Vanderbilt University. He is also survived by his siblings: Gerald Scott, Boston MA; Charles Scott Jr., Boston, MA; Ronald Scott, North Carolina; Brenda Scott, New York; Nadirah Amir, New York. In our hearts he will forever remain. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Fri. Nov. 7th at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta, GA.
