Judy, Jimmy, Collette & Jenn... My heart goes out to you and your family for your loss. I remember coaching with Jim and the kind heart he had with the kids. My son enjoyed going to the baseball field and learned to love the game. We all enjoyed his smile while watching him coach. He will remembered in our family as a great person with a tender heart. Judy, Jimmy, Colette, and Jennifer, I know that Big Jim, your dad, loved you all very much. I never had a conversation with him that didn't include his boasting about at least one of you. I also know he loved Jim Morrison, he was quite vocal about it recently, which made me think of two Morrison quotes; “That is what real love amounts to, letting a person be what he really is. Most people love you for who you pretend to be." & "Love cannot save you from your own fate.” You loved him as he was, and he knew this, and he loved you Judy, especially your strength, in letting him just be Jim.

Aloha, Upon hearing of my cousin Jimmys death I was shocked and saddened. Although we lived far apart the 'Newton Duffys' were not far from our thoughts. Now that both Jimmy and Mary Lou have both suddenly passed many memories of our families spending time together have come flooding back. The world will not be as bright with them gone.
