MURPHY, Irene (Henry) Of Norwood, Nov. 3, 2008. Beloved wife of the late John G. Murphy. Survived by her daughter Joanne Abbott and her husband, Bill, of Norwood; her son, Charles G. Murphy and his wife, Valerie of Scituate and Turner Falls, ME and her daughter, Irene Carbone and her husband Fred, of Buzzard's Bay. Grandmother of Cameron and MiKenzie Carbone of Buzzard's Bay. Sister of the late Thomas Henry and Mary Nestor. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St., Rt. 1-A, NORWOOD, Thurs., Nov. 4, at 9:00 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Norwood Center at 10:00 o'clock. The Reverend Thomas T. Nestor, nephew of Mrs. Murphy, will officiate. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment at Holyhood Cemetery.
