Alice, Katie, Susan and Timmy,
To me, Uncle Joe was always bigger than life. My dad always joked that "Joe knew EVERYONE in Boston, especially Dorchester". I guess my dad was right! Some of my funniest memories were right in my own home...how much he "ribbed" my mom about the "RC" cola she always bought when we had a bunch of guests over...and, of course, Uncle Joe's infamous connection to NKOTB! Uncle Joe posessed a selfless quality that I admired so much...it was amazing to witness such a quiet strength in one man. I will miss him from the bottom of my heart.
Much love from Gina, Tony, Caleb, Xavier, Ava and the new baby

Words just can't express the sadness we have for your loss. Occasionally, I used to run into Joe, late in the afternoon at Cedar Grove. Joe was sitting in his car, reading the newspaper near Joey's resting place. We would talk for a while and then he would have to head home to "start boiling the potatoes". From reading the entries in the guest books, and from having the privledge of knowing Joe, he surely touched a lot of people's hearts. Peace be with you Joe Holloran, and Peace be with you all knowing Joe is in a beautiful place with God, Joey, his Mom and Dad.

Joe was the best. He was a great listener and story teller. I could listen for hours. He also like to talk to people. He could have a 5 minute conversation and he'd know where they were from, who they knew, and where they went to school. Joe was loved and will be missed by alot of people. Alice, Tim, Katie and Sue you are in my thoughts and prayers. You had a wonderful husband and father.

To the Holloran Family,
I was crushed when I heard of Joe's passing. He was my first and one of my favorite coaches for St. Ann's CYO Softball in Neponset almost 20 years ago. He was the reason I kept with softball for over 13 years, a huge inspiration and influence. My heart goes out to your family at this time.

Alice, Tim, Katie, and Sue,
You've lost a devoted husband and father, and we've lost a loving brother. No words can express our sadness, but knowing Joe's suffering is over and he's now with Joey and Nana & Grampa can only ease our pain ever so slightly. He was one in a million. The world & our lives are much better having had Joe among us. He'll always be in our hearts. Our love to all of you.
