HANNIGAN, Charles Richard, Sr 80, of Peabody formerly of Revere, died Monday, November 3, 2008 at the Rutland Regional Medical Center in Rutland VT. Devoted husband of Rosemary E. (O'Keefe) Hannigan. Loving father and father-in-law of Charles R Hannigan Jr and his significant other Gail Eaton of Danvers, Edward P. and Heather Hannigan, Maureen A. and Charles Kaldes and Nancy M. and Kenneth Kocher all of Peabody; cherished grandfather of Drew and Maura Kaldes, Zachary, Raina and Kali Hannigan and uncle to many nieces and nephews. His parents Charles P. and Bertha (Burns) Hannigan and his siblings, John Hannigan, Elaine Bernasconi, Josephine Hartnett and Denise Costanza predeceased him. His funeral will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2008 at 8:45 a.m. from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., (new location) Peabody followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Adelaide Church, 708 Lowell St., Peabody. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours are Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. Burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Crohn's & Colitis N.E. Chapter, 280 Hillside Ave., Needham, MA 02494. Retired mailer employee at the Boston Globe.
