HURWITZ, Melvin Of Newton, Entered Into Rest Nov. 4, 2008. Beloved husband of the late Joyce E. (Friedman) Hurwitz. Devoted father of Chuck Hurwitz & his wife Nancy of Waltham and Bill Hurwitz of Newton. Cherished grandfather of David & Bryan Hurwitz. Graveside Services at Sharon Memorial Park, SHARON on Thursday (Today), Nov. 6, 2008 at 2:45 PM. A gathering will be held immediately following the Service on Thursday only at the home of Chuck & Nancy Hurwitz. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory may be donated to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701 or to the Newton-Wellesley Hospital, 2014 Washington Street, Newton, MA 02462. Donna and I send our deepest sympathy to your family on the loss of Mel. Larry and I have very fond memories of Mel, Joyce, Sydney, Herbert, and your grandparents. We know that your many wonderful memories of your Dad will sustain you at this difficult time. We will miss Mel but he will certainly never be forgotten. Our thoughts and prayers are with you today.
