Eleanor P. Killeen

KILLEEN, Eleanor P. "Mickey" (Feeney) Of Marshfield, at the age of 89, died Nov, 4, at her home surround by her loving family, after a period of declining health. She was born in South Boston, MA on November 13, 1918 to Michael and Ellen (Flaherty) Feeney and was one of thirteen siblings. She was a summer resident of Marshfield and a winter resident of Marco Island, FL. Eleanor was the beloved wife of Jim Killeen for 66 years and was a graduate of St Augustine High School, South Boston. In her earlier years, she worked in administrative positions for the U.S. Government at the Naval Air Station, South Weymouth and later at the Fargo Building in Boston. Mickey enjoyed playing golf, spending time in Florida with her husband Jim and friends and thoroughly enjoyed family gatherings at her Marshfield beach home, which was the center of activity for her family for many years. Family members include her loving husband Jim Killeen, brother William Feeney of Abington, four children, Patricia Dowd of South Boston, Donna Gilraine of Norwell, Ginny Whoriskey of Duxbury and Jim Killeen of Derry, NH, 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 11 AM in St Ann By the Sea Church, Marshfield. A private interment will be held at a later date.
