EPSTEIN, Dr. Franklin H. Of Brookline on Wednesday, November 5, 2008. Beloved husband of Sherrie (Spivack). Devoted father of Mark Epstein and his wife Arlene Shechet of NY, Ann Epstein and her husband Bernard Edelstein of Brookline, Sara Epstein and her husband Owen Duffy of Winchester and Jonathan Epstein and his wife Margaret Myers of Radnor, PA. Dear grandfather of Sonia, Max, Ben, Will, Sam, Jake, Henry, Nora and Charlotte. Brother of Edward Epstein of NJ. Services at Temple Ohabei Shalom, 1187 Beacon Street, Brookline on Sunday, November 9 at 10:30 AM. Interment at Sharon Memorial Park, Sharon. Memorial Observance at his late residence on Sunday following the interment and on Monday and Tuesday 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to MDI Biological Laboratory, P.O. Box 35, Old Bar Harbor Rd., Salisbury Cove, Maine, 04672. Levine Chapels, Brookline 617-277-8300

My sincerest condolensces to the Epstein Family. I was a patient of Dr. Epstein and "loved" him dearly. He epitomized the true meaning of a Dr., kind, caring, considerate and any other appropriate adjective. He will be sorely missed.
