I just learned of Wendy's passing. Although Wendy & I lost touch shortly after graduating from Syracuse, I have great memories of our time together both at Lasell and Syracuse. Roger, I am so sorry for your loss and please accept my very belated condolences. My thoughts are with you and your family.

I just read of Wendy's passing in the Lasell College 2009 Fall newsletter. Even though Wendy and I did not stay in touch after leaving Lasell, I still have very fond memories of our time together as roommates. Roger, I hope you and your family will accept these belated condolences. I am so sorry for
your loss.

Ripples of the loss of Wendy have reached far and wide and mirror her spirit which touched so many over the years. I too remember Wendy vividly back in the days of elementary and middle school in Darien. Quite coincidentally I had just seen a picture of Wendy from our high school days and she had been on my mind because of that. What a shock to learn she had been sick and of her untimely death. Way too young. I am deeply sorry for the loss felt by so many friends and family. But I shall never forget Wendy and what a treasure she was in all of our lives.

I grew up with Wendy, she was my first girlfriend, in 5th grade. She always had a great spirit, a wonderful sense of humor and a sensitive soul. I am lucky to have grown up with her and to have known her. My sympathies to her entire family for this tremendous loss.

My heartfelt sympathy and prayers are with all of you during this very difficult time. Wendy was a childhood friend of my sister Carla when we were growing up in Darien, CT and I remember her fondly. We had a lot of fun and laughs back in the day. As I read about Wendy, I see she continued with a sense of humor, teaching others and giving throughout her life. May she rest in peace, and may you all find strength to cope with your loss in the days ahead.
Sincerely,

I met Wendy in 7th grade...needless to say, a very poignant time in a young girl's life. We quickly became friends, and laughter in those days was our "way of life." I will never forget one day when we were swimming in her family's pool playing our version of charades, and she acted out the song "Cool Jerk" under the water. I am not sure I had ever laughed so hard in my life. Regretfully, we have not been in contact for a number of years, yet I have often thought of her with great fondness. My heart goes out to her husband Roger, her sons Michael and Chris, and her entire family at this very unfortunate time.

I am very sorry to hear about Wendy. She was one of my sister's best friends in high school in Connecticut. I will always remember her wonderful long hair and her great laugh. My thoughts are with her family.

Although we have never met, (our son Corey is Michael's roommate this year) Michael told us about his Mom when we met him last spring. We could tell from the sparkle in his eyes when he spoke of her how much she meant to him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Sincere sympathy for Roger, Mike and Chris during this difficult time. While Wendy was my "little sister", she was more importantly my friend and often my mentor and inspiration. I shall miss her humor and passion for life.

My sincerest condolences Roger, Michael & Chris. She loved you so much and she was so proud of her sons. Wendy & I had shared some great laughs together and loved playing practical jokes on each other. She will always be in my heart, she was a true friend.
Sincerely,
Maureen Dickson

There was never a better friend than Wendy. She was smart, funny, and incredibly creative. I will miss her tremendously. She was simply the best.
