Sharon Rae Kurtz

KURTZ, Sharon Rae Age 58, of Jamaica Plain, passed away after a long and courageous struggle with cancer on October 26 at home with family and close friends. Beloved mother of Zoe Tong Kurtz and beloved daughter of the late Alice Kurtz and Kenneth Kurtz. Sharon was an outspoken activist (with a deep sense of social justice), a brilliant academic, and, most of all, a compassionate and loving mother, colleague, teacher and friend.
