TEMPESTA, Angelo, M., Sr. Of Abington, formerly of Randolph, November 9, 2008 at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Grace (Simone) Tempesta. Loving father of Vincent Tempesta and his wife Donna of Brockton, Fred Tempesta and his wife Debbie of Brockton, Terese Tempesta of Brockton and Angelo Tempesta Jr. and his wife Linda of Abington. Son of the late Vincent and Teresa (DePinto) Tempesta. Devoted brother of Frank Tempesta of Randolph and the late Jack Tempesta. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main Street,( Rte 28), RANDOLPH until 8:15 AM on Thursday followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00 AM in St. Bernadette Church, 1027 No. Main Street, Randolph. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 2:00 - 8:00 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Angelo was born in Norwich CT and died at the Milton Hospital. He was a retired Home Heating Oil Dealer. WWII Veteran and served in the US Army in Central Europe. Member of the Infantry Special Motion Picture Unit which began Unicef. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made Massachusetts Hospital School, 3 Randolph St., Canton MA 02021. I am so sorry for your loss. I have a lot of great memories from Christmas Eve at Terese's house. I was lucky to know him for the six years I was with the family. My condolences to his children and especially Grace.
