MULLEN, Thomas J. Of Reading, November 11, 2008, at age 85.Beloved husband for 53 years of Mary (Gallagher) Mullen.Devotedfatherof Thomas A. Mullen and his wife Susan of Wakefield and Mary K. Yackley and her husband Charles of VT. Cherished grandfather of Anthony and Christopher Mullen. Dear brother of the late Louise Mullen. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. US Army Veteran, W.W. II. Funeral from the Doherty-Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St., READING, Friday at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Thomas' life in St. Athanasius Church, 300 Haverhill St., Reading at 10 AM. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the family on Thursday from 4-8 PM. Parking is available in the municipal parking lot on Linden Street. Mr. Mullen,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
