Please accept our belated condolences on your brother's passing away. Although he fought long and hard, and there is always a sense of his "now resting in peace," it is never easy to let go of a loved one. May you find peace in the memories of the two of you in happier and healthier times.

Mr. Butera,
Sir, as a fellow Marine I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in Korea fighting the Communist North Koreans and Chinese. Because of the service of you and your fellow Marines, millions of South Koreans were able to live in freedom and prosperity and make their country one of the most industrious of the Free World. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
