Aunt Mary had a great fáilte for everyone, especially if you were over from Ireland. Every time we visited 498 she extended her warm, generous, hospitality. You never left the house empty handed. She was a great host and her St. Patrick's Day parties, so I am told, were legendary. Gerard Evelyn and family surrounded her with their loving care. We have fond memories and will miss her greatly.

What a wonderful woman was my Aunt Mary, jovial, caring, loving, generous, entertaining . What a fountain of knowlege about her ancestors and family in the USA and in Ireland. She knew more about Connemara than I (who was born & bred there) will ever do. Our visits to Boston can never be the same again. "Leaba i measc na n-aingeal agat" ("May your bed be with the angels").It was indeed a privilege to have known you.We will never forget you. Martan Carey, Toni, Caoimhe, Roisin + Padraic. You were the essence of a "beautiful lady" and will be missed by all who knew you. I did not know you personally, but my mom (Anna Slack) did and she adored you and often spoke of you. God Bless.

Mary will surely be missed by all of us. Her love for her family made each one of us feel special in her life. May God keep her in his Care now, and i'm thankful that she was a huge part of my life.
