Solomon Hozid Obituary

HOZID, Solomon, 87, formerly of Sharon, MA and Delray Beach, FL passed away at his daughter's home in FL. He is survived by his loving family: wife Beverly: daughters and son-in-laws, Deborah and Paul Langrock, Amy Hozid and Tom Plancon; sister Frances Spellman; 3 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, 11 nieces and nephews. He was a WWII Army Air Corp vet., a printing plant manager, private pilot, hockey and softball enthusiast. Services at Temple Ohabei Shalom, 1187 Beacon St., Brookline on Nov. 18, 2008 at 1pm.

My condolences. Mr. Hozid was my neighbor on Berkshire Ave in Sharon Ma from 1953-1964. He was a wonderful man, a real mensch.

Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army Air Forces during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
