Dear Dave,
I was saddened to hear through my mother that Anita passed away. I had always hoped to meet her, but remember her cheerful and optimistic voice on the phone and your combined notes for my birthday and in e-mails. She never hinted at her cancer, but was always caring for the animals- a thread in our lives we have in common now. I hope we will make contact soon and to find out how you are these months later.

To all who was touched by Anita's kindred spirit- she will be missed in the physical- but spiritual she is with us daily. I will sleep better knowing that someone so kind and gentle is watching over us all. You have forever changed my life and continue to be my hero. Love you "Nita-bonita".

Dear Heidi, Jan and Dr. Smith,
Anita was always a beautiful girl with a warm loving heart. I'm so sorry she had to suffer, but I'm happy that she had a wonderful husband and family to share her young life with. I still remember her from when she was a baby. My thoughts are with you all and I know that her spirit has found peace.
