It has almost been a month, but it feel like just yesterday i heard the sad news. It is hard to believe that he is gone and I still try to pinch myself, hoping it was just a dream. I know though he has gone to a better place, where he is free from pain and suffering. I could go on forever of all the good memories i have shared with grampy. I miss his stubbly beard that rubbed against my cheek when i gave him a kiss and his sweet, sensitive voice. He was a great man, that did so much for his family and his country. I will miss him incredibly, but he will always be in my heart.
I love you Grammpy,
Mike Casey

Mr. Fitch,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

It's hard to believe he's gone. I know he's in a better place. I wish I said more to him, before he passed away. But I'm sure he knows how I feel. He was a great man, and one that everyone will miss. He molded my father into the person he is today, and I thank him for that.
I love you grandpa.

I'm very saddened to hear of his passing. I have so many found childhood memories of Gordon and his family. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Fitch family at this time.
