Mr. Halloran,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

I am so sorry to learn of Dick's passing. He was a fine gentleman and an excellent golfer. I've had many a good round with Dick with the 60's group at Bass River. Am in Florida now so cannot attend the services. My sincere condolences to all in his family. "Stan"

I liked Uncle Dick from the moment I met him. He and Aunt Joan were always so warm and welcoming to me as a new member of the family many years ago. They also opened their home to my family many times, making us feel at home and showing us a great time. Dick was a true gentleman and a classy man in the old tradition...there aren't many left like him. I always called him Jason Robards!

So sorry for your loss. I remember your dad from my caddying days at Beacon Hill. He was a cool guy and a good golfer. I remember his foursome would get out at 7 am and be in by 9. That,s fast. My condolenses to the family....

Please accept my deepest sympathy upon the death of your Father. I have known him since he and your Mom started going together. They had a great life together and were very proud of their Children. I am sorry I won't be able to attend the wake and Mass, as I am just recuperating from major surgery. My best to you all. Sincerely, Betty Bushell Leavey
