Philip Rader

RADER, Philip Age 89, of Framingham, formerly of Stoughton, Boynton Beach, FL and Needham. Entered into rest November 17, 2008. Beloved and adored husband for 60 years of Miriam (Jacobs) Rader. Loving and devoted father of Rhona Rader Hayes & her husband Charles and Alan Jay Rader & his wife Paula all of Framingham. Loving grandfather of Ariel Rader and Anissa Rader also of Framingham. Cherished brother of sister Rose (Rader) Pockriss and brother of the late Joseph Rader, Sarah (Rader) Pockriss and Max Rader. A Veteran of the U. S. Army during WWII from March, 1941 to June, 1945, as a Heavy Motor Crewman in the Pacific Theater, he participated in combat at Guadalcanal and the Northern Solomons receiving numerous awards and medals. He was a member of the Sharon Men's Club, was a Mason, a commissioned salesman and wonderful role model. Services at the Stanetsky Memorial Chapel at 475 Washington Street, CANTON on Thursday, November 20th at 12:00 noon followed by internment at Sharon Memorial Park. Shiva will be held at the home of Rhona and Charles Hayes, 26 Daniels Road, Framingham on Thursday from 4 to 9 PM and on Friday from 12 to 4 PM.
