Edith(Edie)and Family,
I was so sorry to hear of the loss of Norma. She was one of a kind and we were all better for having known her.I didn't keep in touch after GLS but saw her at one of our reunions.Jeannette Gerald updated us on her condition at the last reunion and, ironically,we were all comitted to keep in touch.May God bless you and your family at this difficult time.

SO SORRY TO HEAR OF NORMA'S DEATH. I GRADUATED WITH NORMA FROM GLS AND KEPT IN TOUCH OFF AND ON. SHE WAS A SPECIAL PERSON AND SURELY FOUGHT A LONG HARD BATTLE WITH MS. SHE WILL BE MISSED. MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO ALL OF YOU.

I have known Norma since 7th grade through senior year at GLS and went on to work at Deaconess Hospital as nurses' aides. A few of us kept in touch sporadically over the years. We always appreciated her sense of humor. It was difficult to see how MS imprisoned her body. She will be sadly missed. Thoughts and prayers are with you.

May my cousin, Norma, rest in peace. She fought the good fight for so many years with all of her might. I remember her words when she was diagnosed with MS in the 80s "I will not wallow in this disease". I thank God for releasing her from the body which became her prison in later years. The scripture says " to be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord". Rest in peace Norma, rest in peace.
With sincerest love and condolences to my cousins John, Edie, Elena (Pinky) and the rest of our family. We will miss her, but we will celebrate her life.

My deepest sympathy to the entire Haynes family, but especially John. The loss of another family member in so short a period of time must be very distressing. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
