We think about Dov so often - his indomitable spirit, passion, way with words, humor are so indomitable they stay with us still! Ye I can’t help wishing we could have his in-person take on so many things, from politics to his great granddaughter Love always to all of you.

I enjoyed reading your articles, noting your love of your fellow human beings, the way you make us think about how what we do, and how we live connects us to Israel, our faith, and our families. You will always be a blessing all of us.
I did not know you personally but felt as though I did. I wish the best for your wonderful family that you wrote about so often with love and pride. My sincere sympathy to all whose lives you have touched.

Another light has gone out, another wise, witty, kind voice stilled...but not really. We see the light shining on in Liz and Pattie and Jen and Mickie and in all of us who get a warm glow when we think of him, an enlightened thought when we remember his illuminating insights...and we hear his voice as we read and re-read his columns and emails and letters. How fortunate are we to have those writings, and so many wonderful memories, and to have known him and shared his life! He touched so many people in countless ways, always thoughtful, always creative, always following through - whether making and circulating a marvelous video of Jay's 80th, or making sure Peter was properly remembered in the Journal, or sharing wisdom or a joke or a hug.
We love him and all of you,

Dov Burt Levy was a giant among men. Kind, loving, generous, and smart he spent most of his day helping others and encouraging us all to be better people.
