I was saddened by Mary's untimely death. I met Mary many years ago at the Department of Social Services. She was a pleasure to work with, always working hard and putting in long hours. Mary cared; she made the world a better place. We will all miss her.

To Mary's family and to All of the Conneelly Family. Our families were very close growing up together. Our parents were the best of friends, a friendship that started in Galway, Ireland and continued to Boston. I have so many fond memories of all of us, Mary, Kathy, Patricia, Eileen, and Patrick with all of my brothers and sisters running all around the cellar and back yard at 500 Boylston Street in Newton. I always looked forward to our visits. Those times were the foundation for some of my best childhood memories. I am so sorry to hear of Mary's passing. I hope that all of the fond memories that you have of the good times spent with Mary enable each and every one of you to be able to get through these most difficult of times.
