ASHODIAN, Frances M. (Brown) Age 84 years, passed away Wednesday at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was the wife of the late John J. Ashodian who passed away in 2003 and whom she met at the Canoe Club in East Bridgewater. Born May 15, 1924 in Springfield, MA she was the daughter of the late Francis W. and Frances V. (Dooley) Brown. She was a graduate of Cathedral High School Class of 1941 in Springfield, MA and also graduated from Our Lady of the Elms College in Chicopee, MA in 1945 earning her Bachelor of Science Degree. Mrs. Ashodian was employed by the Massachusetts General Hospital from 1952-1958 where she was in charge of the Thyroid Laboratory. She is survived by a son, Richard A. Ashodian and wife Sara of South Boston, a daughter, Regina A. Ashodian of Charlestown, MA and a brother, Richard P. Brown and wife Louise of Springfield, MA. A brother, Walter J. Brown, preceded her in death. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 22 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph's Holy Cross Center, 518 Washington St., North Easton, MA. Entrance located off of Rt. 138. Visitation will be prior to the Mass from 8:30- 10:00 am at the St. Joseph's Holy Cross Center. Interment will follow the service at Melrose Cemetery, Brockton.
