Betty was an amazing & extraordinary person. No matter what she was going through, her concern was always for others. I enjoyed keeping in touch with her through notes & cards. Betty was an inspiration to all; she touched many peoples lives. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Betty and I go back a long way from Tufts university where I first met her. We worked together for many years until her retirement. She was a great lady & I will keep her in my thoughts.

I'm Peg Rockwell's daughter and I just wanted to say how sorry I am for the loss. Betty was such a wonderful person and such a good fried to my mother. I know how much my mother is going to miss her and all her notes, talking to her on the phone and,of course, the Somerville Journals Betty used to drop off!!! She will be missed.

Betty and I became closer through our letters, which I will truly miss receiving. As ill as she was, she still wrote to me even just to tell me how sick she was, and she looked forward to receiving from me. I will miss that. She was an incredible person.
