Diane Mahoney Obituary

MAHONEY, Diane E. (Whyte) Age 69, of Windham, NH, died Saturday at her home in Windham. She was born in Malden, MA, where she grew up and attended schools and later graduated from Malden Hospital School of Nursing. She was a devoted and caring nurse, working at the intensive care unit of Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford, MA for many years, and later at JML Rehabilitation Hospital in Falmouth, MA. She was the daughter of the late John & Doris Whyte, and was predeceased by a son Stephen Mahoney. She is survived by her Husband Jack Mahoney of Windham, NH, Daughters: Susan & her Husband Scott Bucciero of Salem, NH, Patricia & her Husband Michael Bucciero of Salem, NH. Brother: John Whyte of Goose Creek, SC. Sisters: Wendy Dugas of Alton, NH, Roberta Purdue of Windham, NH, 7 Grandchildren, Several Nieces & Nephews. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, Nov.26 at 11:30 AM at St. Joseph Church, Salem, NH. Burial will follow in Cemetery on the Plain, Windham, NH. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, Nov. 25 from 4-8 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, SALEM, NH. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the: Norris Cotton Cancer Center at Dartmouth Hitchcock-ManchesterNorris Cotton Cancer Center, 87 MacGregor St, Manchester, NH 03102. Jack, Sue, Pat & families
Diane will always hold a special place in my heart. She was one of the most thoughtful and kind people I know. She loved her family very much and was grateful for tender care you gave her. She will always be a part of us. My love to all of you.
