ADELL, Robert G. In Rye, NH, Nov. 23, 2008, age 81, of Greenland, NH, former longtime Amesbury resident, World War II Coast Guard Veteran. Devoted husband of 53 years of Elizabeth G. "Liz" (Pennington) Adell; dearest father of Eric P. Adell and wife Patty of Amesbury; Andrew P. Adell of Bradenton, FL and Betsy N. Carrier and husband Maurice of Greenland; proud grandfather of Jessica and Michelle Proia and Mackenzie and Tory Adell; loving brother of Richard A. Adell. Visiting hours at Paul C. Rogers & Sons Family Funeral Home, Highland Chapel, will be Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008 from 3 to 7 P.M. The officers & members of the Amesbury Lions Club will meet at the funeral home at 2:45 P.M. immediately prior to the start of visiting hours. Funeral services will be at the funeral home on Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008 at 2 P.M. followed by interment in Bartlett Cemetery, Amesbury. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to the Greenland Community Congregational Church, P.O.B. 128, Greenland, NH 03840 or to Mass Lions Eye Research, C/O PDG Edward L. Irvin, 24 Bayberry Lane, Salisbury, MA 01952.
