I was very sad today to hear of the passing of Elaine Muise. I sang
in the choir for the Parish of Saint Clare. Elaine was a wonderful person. My deepest sympathy to her family.

I was deeply saddened to hear of your loss. I am so sorry that I was unable to attend the services. Your mother was always so gracious and generous in her attention to others. Truly, she was a gift to all of us at St. Clares. I treasure my memories of singing with her. She had such a beautiful gift and it was a privilege to work with her. But she was more than my accompanist, she was a friend, and someone who always showed a genuine interest in my life, and my family's well-being. You have never met my children, but my oldest is turning eighteen this year. My husband and I lived in the parish at my parents' house when she was born. We continued to attend masses at St. Clares for about the next eight years. Once a month, when it was my turn to sing, your mother would invite my Lizzie to come up to the choir loft for a little "visit". My daughter has only lovely memories of the "beautiful sweet lady" who played the organ and the piano and who for many years sent us "the most beautiful Christmas cards" she ever saw. We will both miss her. Know that our prayers are with you.

I remember "Miss Paradise" very well. She was my third grade teacher at Pingree School in Weymouth and a very sweet, kind lady. My condolences to her family and friends.
