Please accept my deepest sympathies. I worked for Al back in 1974 at Branded Values in Acton, MA and have thought of him often over the years. I was 18 years old at the time. Alfredo III, I met you then (you were 3 or 4...?) and I'll never forget what you said: "Hi. I'm Alfredo Alfonso Fondacaro the third and I'm adopted!" Then you showed me a penny which you had personally framed and saved because you had swallowed it sometime before. I am now a father of two young children and I know where that look of pride and joy on his face came from.
His memory is a blessing to me.

Mr. Fondacaro,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

Al was my first cousin, his mother my father's sister. Though we did not get together as often as we would have liked, I'll always remember him as a fine and thoughtful gentleman. Sincere condolences to young Al and the whole family.
