Melina was a beautiful human being. As a teenager, she touched my life through her love of poetry. She was extremely creative in so many ways, including writing and art. I remember when she re-designed her bathroom based on the beautiful colors of a soap dish she loved. She was a role model of an independent, strong woman who pounded the pavement endlessly to earn money selling encyclopedias. Her strong work ethic made a lasting impression on me. She was a great listener; always so self-less & so interested in the wellbeing of others. I always felt so "at home" at her kitchen table. She was such a great and caring Mom to her three daughters. Growing up as a friend of Joyce, Janice & Eileen, I was blessed to have her influence in my life. I'm sure she is a special angel in heaven.

Dear Joyce, Janice & Eileen, I have many fond memories of your mother when we lived next door on Page St.; one of her playing the spoons. She was a super lady. My sympathies to you and your families.
