Marilyn Duffy Obituary

DUFFY, Marilyn Died on November 28th, 2008, formerly of Braintree, at the age of 77. Daughter of the late John J. and Ruth M. (Grady) Cooney. Beloved wife of John "Jack" Duffy and devoted mother of Jay of Atlanta, GA, Kathi and her husband Peter of Duxbury, Paul "Prasad" of Venice, CA, Karen Balaschi and her husband Mike of Kingston, Mark and his wife Laura of Wilton, CT, Chris and his wife Laurie of North Andover and Michelle Amirault and her husband Eddie of Kingston. Marilyn is also survived by her brother Jack Cooney and his wife Donna of Orlando, FL and 19 beautiful grandchildren. An avid golfer she was a member of Thorny Lee Country Club in Brockton, Countryside Country Club in Naples FL, and White Cliffs Country Club in Plymouth where she resided with her husband. Marilyn had the rare honor of making a "hole in one" twice in her lifetime. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, December 2nd from 4-8 PM at Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St. (Rt.106) KINGSTON. A Funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph's Church, 272 Main St., Kingston, on Wednesday, December 3rd at 10 AM. Burial will be at the MA National Cemetery in Bourne. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Marilyn's memory to Lewy Body Dementia Association www.lbda.org and/or Wingate At Silver Lake Alzheimer's Unit Activities Fund, 17 Chipman Way, Kingston, MA 02364. www.wingatehealthcare. com. Dear Mr. Duffy, Chris and the entire family,
