Nancy Pratt Rhoads

RHOADS, Nancy Pratt 82, died November 29, 2008 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach, FL. She was born in Boston, MA and lived in Vero Beach, FL for 25 years. She was a graduate of the Westover School in Connecticut and Vassar College. Nancy was a member of Oak Harbor Club and Hawks Nest Golf Club in Vero Beach, FL. Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Jay R. Rhoads, Jr. of Vero Beach, FL; Jay R. "Terry" Rhoads III of Denmark, ME, her brother Stanley E. Pratt of Wellesley Hills, MA and 4 grandchildren. Her son, Geoffrey E. Rhoads and her brother Waldo E. Pratt III preceded her in death. Memorial contributions can be made to The Indian River Medical Center Foundation, 1000 36th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960, or to the Island Institute, P.O. Box 648, Rockland, ME 04841-00648.
