Bev, Bonnie and family,
I was so saddened to see the news of Dave's passing. He always had a smile for everyone and time to stop and talk. I loved to run into him at Donelan's or on the street just to have a chat. He will be missed by so many and he loved all of you so much. Please take comfort knowing that he is looking down on you. You will feel his presence whenever you need it.

My heart goes out to you at this time and in the days ahead.
I will always remember when me and Heidi. Joy and bonnie. david (davey) and robbie chrissy and karen would all get together on occasional sundays in burlington or pepperell or at grandma and grandpas. and scheme our parents into letting us have sleep overs and robbie would always want to stay with david and I with Heidi but we couldnt both stay so I use to beg uncle dave to let me stay instead of robbie and of course you know who won. Uncle dave will be sadly missed I have great memories and will always keep them close to my heart especially his blue eyes which is a classic McPherson trait and that smile that always reminded me of grandpa. may you all hold on to your memories and believe he will always be there looking down on you knowing what a wonderful family he had. with love and sorrow

Dear Bonnie,
I was saddened to hear of your dad's passing. In life, there are people who remain strong in one's memory. Your dad is one of those people for me...a strong man, an honest man, one who spoke his mind. A feisty gentleman at times. A father who loved his children. A colleague to be trusted. Someone who could make me laugh. My sympathy to you and your family.

Dad was surrounded by family when he began his new journey. As most of you knew and loved my Dad, known affectionately as "Pappy" to his grandchildren and great-grandchild whom he met for the first time just six months ago. Dad was a man of faith and assured me with a warm squeeze of his hand and a flash of his beautiful blue eyes that he would be looking down on all of us from Heaven and checking in from time to time whenever we needed him. I am sure he is looking over my shoulder now smiling and whispering some maxim in his famous Scottish brogue which he loved so much to do for us. I loved him and always will.

Bev and family,
We became aquainted with Dave through our friendship with Steve and Bonnie. During that time we realized what a special and thoughtful person he was. This was especially evidenced at Steve and Michelles' wedding this summer when we enjoyed watching him interact with our son Gregory. Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. God Bless.

We thought of you with love today,
But that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday.
And days before that too.
We think of you in silence.
We often speak your name.
Now all we have is memories.
And your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake.
With which we’ll never part.
God has you in his keeping.
We have you in our heart.
