Dorothy Clapp Obituary

CLAPP, Dorothy Ingalls Of Waltham, died peacefully, Nov. 16, 2008 at the Leland Home in Waltham. She was 97. Wife of the late Kenneth L. Clapp. Born in Lubec, ME, the only child of Sea Captain Jack and Mamie (Cummings) Ingalls. She worked for many years as a Registered Nurse at Mass. General Hospital and retired from Harvard University Health Center as a head nurse. Dorothy was a member of the Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile, Waltham Women's Club and an active member of the First Baptist Church of Waltham. She leaves many cousins and close friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, Dec. 6th at 10 a.m. in the First Baptist Church, 400 Lexington St., Waltham. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church Memorial Fund. Arrangements by The Joyce Funeral Home, WALTHAM.
