Sarah Duncan Obituary

DUNCAN, Sarah S. Of Lynn died Nov 28th in Tampa, FL, where she had gone to welcome a new great great nephew and to celebrate her 90th birthday. Sarah was born in Lynn, MA and graduated from Lynn Classical High School and Burdett College. She worked for Farquhar & Black Insurance Co. for over 50 years as their bookkeeper and office manager. She was a member of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church her entire life. She was predeceased by her sister Mary Duncan Brown and her brother William Duncan; and survived by her niece Sarah Nisenson of Burlington, MA, nephew Paul Brown of Poquoson, VA, niece Lynn Kreischer of Doylestown, PA, nephew Boyd Duncan of Hampton VA, and sister-in-law Mary Jervis Duncan of Telford PA, as well as their children and grandchildren. She is also survived by a number of cousins, especially Edna and Bob Miller and Natalie Murphy of Bristol, NH. To the family as well as all their friends she was known as "Auntie". A memorial service will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to the American Lung Association of MA, 460 Totten Pond Rd Ste 400, Waltham, MA 02451 or St. Stephen's Episcopal Church 74 S Common St. Lynn MA 01902.
