Edmund Poutasse Obituary

POUTASSE, Edmund J. 77, of South Dennis, MA, died on November 25, 2008 In Cape Cod Hospital, Hyannis, MA. Son of the late Edmund J. and Mae F. (Vahey) Poutas, He is survived by two sisters, Bernice J. Poutas and Marion E. Cronin, both of South Yarmouth, a nephew Jerry F. Cronin of Marstons Mills, and a greatniece, Jennifer Cronin of Yarmouth. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Pius the Tenth Church, So. Yarmouth, at 10 AM on Tuesday, December 9, 2008. Interment will be private. Gifts in his memory may be directed to the Dennis Rescue Squad, 883 Main St., West Dennis, MA 02670 or to the Visiting Nurse Association, 434 Route 134, South Dennis, MA 02660. Arrangements by Hallett Funeral Home, SOUTH YARMOUTH, MA.

I am so sorry for your loss. I visited Ed as a home health aide and I remember him as such a nice and interesting man. I also remember him making chocolate candy at Christmas for everyone. He overcame so many obstacles through his determination and will be missed.
