Dear Joe,
I am sorry to hear of your father's passing.
You have been one of the most devoted sons' any parent could hope for. And I hope you take comfort in that fact.
Without you and your brother as his strong advocates, he would not have been able to enjoy the comfort of his own home these past two years.
Know that you are in my thoughts and it has been an extraordinary pleasure to have been able to help you during this most difficult time in your life.
