He was married for 61 years to Canadian-born Jacqueline (Jacquie) Dorn. Born in Poughkeepisie, NY, Ken served in the Navy in World War II. An avid tennis player, Ken & Jacquie were active members of the Needham Pool & Racquet Club. Twenty years ago, Ken & Jacquie established their permanent home on Cape Cod, where Ken was once again an involved member of the community. For 23 years, he served as President of the Ocean Edge Owners' Assoc., where he & Jacquie spent their summer months. A voracious reader, Ken volunteered for many years at the Brewster Ladies' Library. Ken loved his family dearly & is survived by his wife, Jacqueline; Sister Mary Frances, & four children. Kenneth J. Dorn, III and his wife Virginia, of Medfield; Deborah A. Counter and her husband, George of Virginia; Marguerite M. Dorn and he husband, David McEvoy, of Needham; and John C.
