Mr. Mulvey,
Sir, as a fellow Marine I would just like to say thank you for your years of dedicated service and sacrifice-first for our Country when you served in the USMC during WW II and secondly for the citizens of Boston when you served with the BPD. It was the history and accomplishment made by you and your fellow Marines during the War the all of us Marines who followed in your footsteps have always tried to live up to. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

My condolences to the Mulvey family.I had the privelege to work with Frank as a young ADA during the 1980s. He was fine policeman, a proud former Marine, and a gentleman.I am honored to have known him. Semper Fi.

To the Mulvey Family:
I deeply regret having been unable to attend Frank's wake and funeral but just found out about his death a few hours ago.
I felt compelled to let his family know how fortunate and honored I was to have had the opportunity to work with Frank for several years while at District 4 in the South End.
During that time, I always found Frank with a ready smile and always prepared to take any task assigned him, no matter how potentially dangerous or difficult, and do a truly professional job. He was a specialist at doing that at all times.
My prayers are with Frank and those he left behind. He was a very special police officer and a very special friend. I have many fond memories of Frank and cherish them.
