Rev. Daniel F. Cronin

CRONIN, Rev. Daniel F. Pastor Emeritus, 86, of Haverhill, Dec. 7, in Haverhill. Son of the late Frank and Mary (Kiely) Cronin both of County Cork, Ireland. Raised in Haverhill, graduate of St. James High School, Boston College, St. John's Seminary in 1946. Rev. Cronin had numerous assignments during more than 60 years of priesthood that included St. Francis of Assisi Church, Medford, St. Michael Church, Hudson, and St. Patrick Church, Natick. Assigned to Cambridge Hospital's School of Nursing, St. Peter Church, Lowell, U.S. Navy Chaplin during the Korean War, Church of Annunciation, Danvers, St. Patrick Church, Watertown, St. William Church, Dorchester, in 1973 was appointed Pastor of St. Catherine of Alexandria Church, Westford until his retirement in 1998. Continued to serve as Pastor Emeritus. Survived by loving sisters, Lillian P. Lupi of Haverhill, Mary T. Maddix of Battle Creek, MI, and Eileen M. Breglia of Methuen; many nieces, nephews, and extended families. Concelebrated Funeral Mass of Christian Burial, Fri., Dec. 12 in St. Catherine of Alexandria Church, Westford at 10 a.m. Burial in St. James Cemetery, Haverhill. Calling hours Wed. in the C. Frank Linnehan and Son Haverhill Funeral Home, 129 Kenoza Ave., HAVERHILL from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends invited. On Thurs., Dec. 11, the reception of Rev.
