FRATALIA, Francesco "Frank" 82 years of age. Unexpectedly. Of Charlestown, formerly of Civitavecchia, Rome, Italy, December 9, 2008. Beloved husband of the late Gloria A. (Vena) Fratalia. Devoted father of Ernest Fratalia of Lynn, Vincent Fratalia & wife Bunny of Tewksbury, Stephen Fratalia & wife Anne of Norwood, Francesca Rossi & husband Thomas of Pittsburgh, PA, Robert Fratalia (Det. B.P. D.) & wife Joanie of Bridgewater & Christopher Fratalia & wife Kate of Wellington, Fla. Loving "Pa" to 16 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren. Beloved brother of Enrico & Angelo Fratalia, Adele DiGiacomo all of Civitavecchia, Italy, the late Maria Nardi, Vincent & Salvatore Fratalia. Also many nieces & nephews. Funeral from The Frank H. Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St., CHARLESTOWN, on Saturday at 9 a.m. Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 p.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Retired employee for Comm. of Mass. Member of Ring Four Boxers Assoc.
