Deepest sympathies to you Sue and your entire family on the loss of Dr. Fairfax. If there ever was a beautiful obituary and window into one's life well spent, it was this one of Dr. Fairfax.

Dear Diane, My heartfelt sympathy to you and to the entire Fairfax family. Some of the most memorable experiences in my career, were those times at the Hetland Rink, learning from your Dad how to conduct myself while working with young athletes. He was truly a gentleman. He will be missed.

To the Fairfax family, I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your husband/father/grandfather. He was obviously a much beloved man, and I have nothing but very fond memories of him and that wonderful smile. What a beautiful obituary. It's not often that you smile while reading one, but I did when reading this one. A wonderful man enjoyed a wonderful life. He will be greatly missed. My sincere condolences.

Dear Fairfax family, I was so saddened when I read of Dr. Fairfax's passing. I worked as a secretary in St. Luke's X-Ray department in the early '70's. When I left the department to raise our family, I had a nice long talk with Dr. Fairfax, telling him that he was my favorite! He was such a gentleman to work for. He will surely be missed.
