Anne Koczur Obituary

KOCZUR, Anne (Phinney) 72, passed away December 1, 2008. She was born December 29, 1935, in Moriah, NY to George and Evelyn Phinney. She was predeceased by brother, George Phinney, sisters, Dorothy Ricci and Betty Quirk and survived by her sister, Marjorie Anderson. She enjoyed the social aspect of school that kept her in touch with school friends throughout the years. She was particularly proud of her jitterbug skills and was a vivacious reader. She worked many years in retail and after retiring from Busa's, Anne moved from Burlington MA to Phoenix AZ. She was devoted to a family that completely adored her; husband, Peter; her children, Peter and Paula Koczur of Topsfield MA, Karen and Robert Swain of Phoenix AZ, Tommy and Cheryl Koczur of Burlington MA and grandchildren, Robert, Allyssa, Adam and Ryan and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service and celebration to honor Anne's life will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 10:00 am at St. Margaret's Church Burlington MA. Following the mass, family and friends are invited to the home of Peter and Paula Koczur. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Diabetes Foundation or the Heart Association.
