We are so shocked and saddened to hear of Ed's death. Nancy and Marge called right before the funeral, but I was unfortunately unable to make it. My mom is in Arizona and she offers her condolences to you all. It was less than two months ago that Ed was at the Cape offering comfort to our family. He had printed up a poem that my dad had written about the vacation group and several photos from the good old days which he gave to each one of us. Ed was such a thoughtful, sweet man and we will never forget him. I choose to believe that he is in a better place with George, Chip and my dad sharing a laugh or two. Our thoughts are with you all.

I'm so sorry to hear of the tragic loss of Ed.I got the news today from one of my sons.Ed was a customer of mine for over thirty years before I retired to the Cape in 2002.When he would come in for a haircut we would have many great conversations on just anything under the sun,he was such a good guy.May God Bless Him and his Family. Eunice, I am so shocked to hear of Ed's passing. I owe him so much... my very presence in MA is due to his hiring me in 1973. He was my BEST boss! He was a great friend. I feel so bad for missing the wake and funeral. He was a very great man and the world is a lesser place at his passing.

Uncle Eddie was such a great story teller. Those he shared about family and events pieced together "Hanson" family history and are memories I will always cherish. His leadership will be hard to replace. We will miss him so much. Our thoughts are with you all. Ann and Stuart
