COHEN, Eli I. Of Brighton. Entered into rest December 11, 2008, at the age of 92. Beloved husband of Ida (Schwartz) Cohen. Loving brother of Maurice Cohen of Lake Worth, FL & Lorraine Smith of Portland, ME and loved by many nieces and nephews. A proud veteran of the U.S. Navy during WW II. Services will be held at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 1668 Beacon Street, BROOKLINE on Sunday, December 14, 2008 at 12:00 PM. Interment in Sharon Memorial Park. Memorial observance at his late residence on Monday & Tuesday from 4-6 PM. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in his memory may be donated to the charity of one's choice. Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USN during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
