Dear Big Phil, Phil, kids and extended family,
I just found out TODAY about Rose. I am so very sorry to hear of her passing. Please know that I would have been at her service had I known. Rose was a very special woman. The world is small. Even though I knew Phil growing up, I hadn’t yet met his parents. Rose worked in the flower shop across from the cemetery. When I was a young girl, my stepfather passed away. I will never forget how warm, loving, gentle and kind Rose was to my grieving mother and me, and she was a total stranger to us. All these years later, I have never forgotten that. It was not long after that I “met” Rose through Phil. Rose lived for her family and will be missed by many. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.
