Dear Johnson Family:
I was very sad to hear of your mother's tragic death. She was a wonderful hard working neighbor of ours for 45 years who along with your Dad Fran kept a beautiful home. Always kind and friendly. I will miss seeing her walking every morning. She took time to visit my mother (Rita) in her final days and always ask my father (Johnny) how things were going.
We were pleased to have Palma, Fran and all of you as neighbors and wish you well in the future.
Sincerely,
Brian Brennan

I never had the pleasure of meeting Palma Johnson, but I do know her daughter, Mary Ann. Mary Ann is one of the dearest people and most skillful teachers I have ever met. Palma must have been a wonderful mother to have raised such an incredible daughter. From what I have read about Palma, Mary Ann takes after her mother in most every way.

How fitting that he sun rose pink over Palma's house this morning. What a lovely woman! She was so proud of each one of you children and your families. Prepare to see answered prayers as she has special intentions and blessings in mind for each of you. I know because she used to mention them on her way home from mass each morning. Watch with the eyes of faith and you will see her intervention.

Please accept our deepest sympathy for the loss of your dear mother. She was a force to be reckoned with indeed! I used to see her every morning, no matter the weather, walking with friends or alone. Her example was an inspiration to all who knew her.
Please know that you're all in our hearts and prayers and forgive me for not making it to see all of you to extend my condolences in person.

Dear Johnson Family,
Your Mom will never be forgotten. While your Dad was never thrilled that we were constantly running through the shrubs that separated our driveways, or catching whiffle balls on top of the neatly manicured shrubs on the other side of the house, your Mom would always smile and wave out the window. She taught us that it was an acceptable practice to borrow an egg or a cup of sugar from our neighbors. She set the bar awfully high when it came to "neighbors", and I was truly pleased to catch up with her last Spring for the first time since we left Martin Ave 25 years ago. What a spirited woman! My heartfelt sympathies extend to you all.
Fondly,
Kathy Bonollo-Robinson

To Mrs. Johnson's Family:
A great lady, a wonderful lady, a lady who inspired. These are just a few of the many accolades that describe a truly remarkable person. How saddened we were to hear of her death.
Our thoughts are with you during this tragic time. Her faith in God motivated her to take that walk, and no doubt she is now in His memory. May your faith in God give you the strength to continue on during the challenging times that you'll face. God promises to be with us during our times of distress. Focus on the hope that we have for a future in which we have the opportunity to be reunited with our loved ones who have fallen asleep in death. The Kingdom for which we pray in the Our Father Prayer promises to restore life on a righteous, peaceful earth, on which sickness and pain will be things of the past. How we long for the fulfillment of those promises!
Again, you're in our thoughts and prayers at this time.
Take Care,
